Phase II for drainage project 2006

This project will allow the maintenance staff to efficiently drain the lake in the spring before the water

flows over the damn and floods the golf course.

As the lake silts in more and more every year spring floods and a shortage of water in the hot dry summer months will become a more common problem.

This picture was taken early in the 2006 drought. Later in the summer the water level in the pond got so low that you could walk across the dry lake bed from the clubhouse to the tennis courts.
